Thanks Luke. There is a mandatory reporting law in KY so it's not supposed to make a difference if you give your name or not as far as them suing you goes but they tell you straight up that if you choose not to give your name then they may not be able to investigate as well as if they could contact you later with any further questions etc. A person is protected from retaliation for reporting but first they can be retaliated against. The protection comes much later in a court room when it has to be made right by them is my thought on it now. Don't give your name and don't get sued but if you don't give your name and as a result of your fear of that, it hinders an investigation, well? Tough decisions.

Sorry it took so long to respond. lol. I've had a bug, a virus, so I'm a little slower than usual but I used an old alternative remedy so I wouldn't give it to anybody else. You know. Just couldn't use the same things as everybody else. Separate items. No one else could share my things so they wouldn't catch it.

On info about how to report in the past it's even been in writing that if you don't give your name it may be harder for investigators to investigate. I guess there had to be laws to protect people who do give their names, so there are. It's still a rough way to go if you do give your name these days in my opinion. They drill it into nurses that they are mandatory reporters and can be in a lot of trouble if they don't report. Teachers too.
